Pretty soon, we’ll be playing our Christmas CDs, hoping those old classics will put us in a festive mood. But do you ever WISH you had some NEW and WONDERFUL songs to listen to? Songs that would stir your soul and bring you a FRESH perspective on the wonder and meaning of the holidays?

I’ve been thinking about that ever since I started writing and recording music. I wanted to find a way to give YOU an INCREDIBLE musical gift that would lift your spirits and fill your heart with all the joy it could possibly hold.

Well, I FINALLY DID IT!!!!!! I called on my AWESOME team of songwriters and musicians and produced what I believe to be six of the most wondrous and beautiful holiday songs you will ever hear. They are all part of a collection on my NEW CD, “HOW CHRISTMAS FEELS TO ME.”

I gotta tell you, I was SO excited as these songs were coming together, I could hardly breathe. The night my producer Eric called me to come pick up the finished product, my heart was RACING with anticipation!!!

I want so much for YOU to feel the same RUSH and experience the sheer DELIGHT of this REMARKABLE music. Imagine yourself listening to my CD and being instantly connected to the MAGIC of the Christmas season! WOW! If it can do that for me, a self-professed Scrooge, it can DEFINTELY do that for YOU!!!!!

As I write this, my chief Elf Alfie just handed me a note suggesting I offer a SPECIAL PRE-SEASON PRICE for “How Christmas Feels To Me.” He said it will promote good will among my fans and make it possible for them to order multiple copies to give away as gifts. What a GREAT idea!!!!!!

The little elf gets on my nerves sometimes, but I have to admit he’s one SMART cookie!

So here’s the offer:

Order my CD within the next 48 hours for ONLY $8 plus $2 shipping. AND, if you order five copies or more, they are only $6 per copy, plus $1 shipping per copy. Click on “Alfie The Elf’s Amazing Offer” below.

HOLIDAY CD IS HERE!

Luanne's new holidy EP, "How Christmas Feels To Me," is here! She said she is extremely honored to have recorded songs by some of the finest writers around - Steve Robinson, Laurie Pickens, Dana Lamb and Lawton Jiles.

The project features a refreshing mix of six tunes, such as "This is Christmas," "Bless You, Dear Charles," "Away in a Manger (At the Crossroads of Strangers) and "A Guest in this House."  It will also include "Christmas Without You," and the ancient Huron Indian carol, "'Twas in the Moon of Wintertime."  "Christmas Without You" was written by Jiles and originally recorded by Patsy Cline with different lyrics.  Cline's version was titled, "How Can I Face Tomorrow" and her performance is available to view on www.youtube.com

"When I was planning this project, I was concerned that it might be difficult to find six incredible songs," said Hunt.  "But I am overjoyed about delivering a holiday CD with such strong material.  I think almost any one of them could become classics."

Hunt's EP was produced by Eric Uglum (Alison Krauss, Ron Block, Ralph Stanley, Nickel Creek and Sierra Hull).  Its expected release date is October 1, 2008 on the American Classic Recordings label.

PATSY'S LOST HOLIDAY CLASSIC

Patsy Cline was heartbroken she missed out on recording what might have become a holiday classic. Forty-eight years later, American Classic Recordings artist Luanne Hunt releases "Christmas Without You," a song commissioned by Patsy Cline in 1960.

“I’ve always believed if Patsy would have recorded ‘Christmas Without You’ it would have become a holiday standard,” said Lawton Jiles, who co-wrote the song with Buster Beam. “It’s the kind of Christmas song you hear once and want to sing along. It’s very simple, but the simple songs are usually the ones people love the most.”

"Solace in the Wind" is a beautifully crafted tune with an outstanding arrangement and a stellar lead vocal, accompanied by excellent vocal harmonies.  This is as close to perfection as it gets and a real treat to listen to."

"I love it ("Solace in the Wind").  Luanne's voice is amazing and the lyrics work perfectly. The male vocals that come in don't over power her at all and she comes through with confidence that most professional singers lack."
